An ICONS Award is given to individuals that have shown exceptional responsibility in promoting the holistic approach to wellness and healthy lifestyles. Individuals that are chosen for this prestigious award represent many dimensions of society that is necessary to make life-long changes in the health and well-being of all Americans. They understand that wellness and healthy lifestyles has many dimensions and offer solutions by working together to be a change agent for building healthier and wealthier communities in the 21st century.
ICONS Award Recipients are nominated by individuals that have recognized their commitment to health and well-being of families in our communities and the education of our future leaders. The ICONS Foundation recognizes these individuals for their vision and work.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Applications for nominating an individual for the ICONS Award are available from The ICONS Foundation. The ICONS Advisory Council carefully reviews each application. Recommendations are made and nominees are contacted.
